You can avoid being overly descriptive by using a THEMATIC approach as we attempted with the Mock Exam rather than a chronological this happens them this etc...
To improve your need to flesh out your analysis of the MICRO to infer some kind of meaning/imply what the MES,CAM,EDIT etc mean.
Consider how the loss of virginity is romanticised or innocent using lighting and how the camera shoots them. Also costume is important.
